Its a GIRL! Our bundle of JOY!

It was year 2006 when I 1st found out I was preggy! Aaaah! Welcome to d preggers mommy club! BIG Smiles XD.
It all started by taking d very 1st urine sample, early in the morning & it has 2 pink stripes on it! I was thrilled & quickly woke my hubby up!!  I just couldn't express my happiness that I AM PREGNANT! It feels great & I am taking each steps cautiously indeed. I would say, throughout my trimester I was pretty Pantang! More over, old wives tale - Cannot do this, No cooling food, No sewing or cutting on the bed etc. I figured, why not just listen & follow? After all there isn't any harm towards Baby & Me.

I didn't have any sign of morning sickness. I just dislike certain things that I've been using for ages! Such as .. the taste of Colgate, scented deodorant, certain colours would affect my mood swings & all perfumes! I tend to feel nausea each time I see or use them! I would take roughly 10-15mins just to brush my teeth!! I had to sit & calm myself down too.

I was seeing a gynae in Damansara Specialist throughout my pregnancy. I was pretty comfortable with my gynae Dr Neoh. Until today, I still consult him for my papsmear etc..

We were waiting axiously just to find out our Baby's gender! Month after month...still no sign of showing. Each time my Baby will show her Buttocks or crossed her legs instead! Hahaha! I could not shop for Pink or Blue! I went for neutral colours like white, yellow & green.
Then finally at 7 months preggers, Dr Neoh finally announced its a "HER"!!! WOW!!!!!!! JOY!!!! I finally got to buy PINK & all d prettiest cutest dresses in d world!! Oh my lord!!
 Its a GIRL! Pink Ribbons, Pink Hair Bands, Pink booties, Pink Socks, Pink bed sheets, Pink EVERYTHING! Think PINK :D

Finally, d due date has arrived. "Lil bundle of joy" arrived 3 weeks way before her due date. Reasons, my placenta was ageing & she couldn't consume food from me. Dr Neoh has spotted some white tiny spots on my placenta several weeks before she popped.

Actually, I had a false alarm! Haha, yeah, it happened to me. I was going out for dinner & I felt a gush of fluid coming out! I kind of panicked, checked & called the midwives for reassurance. They told me I could have dilated & quickly got myself admitted that evening. Well......I was only dilated 1.5 cm!! So no sign of baby yet.....but I had to stay over for observation, just incase I dilated more. We waited until the very next morning, Dr Neoh asked "if & since" I am already admitted, Do I want to induce LiL bundle of joy today???? We decided, OK Proceed! Sign this, sign that, got me changed & was pushed to d delivering room. Wow....Wow....Now I am scared! I had epidurals but it didnt really helped much as I could still feel d sharp pain on my right hip downwards. Ok, just have to calm myself...breath in, breath out, PUSH, PUSH, PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Grabbing my hubby's hand as tight as possible!!!! Finally, baby popped!! Dr Neoh passed me our lil princess!! I cried that very moment, just could not express my feelings towards my lil princess. We humans, could actually make beautiful babies! She's beautiful! I could still remember, checking her tiniest fingers & toes. We named her " CAITLYN LOW " she weighed 2.74kg's d smallest baby princess in the ward. She's perfectly healthy! So u know, Caitlyn is a January 2007 baby :D
