Cream Scones .. Yummy !

Don't have to travel to Cameron Highlands for d Best Scones! Bake it for your loved ones! U need alot of time to bake a Yummylicious Creamy Scone. Do not rush, if not.....Hard Rock Scones! Hehe..

2    Cups of Self Raising Flour
50  Grams Castor Sugar
1/4 Tsp Salt
75  Grams unsalted Butter - Cut into cubes - not melted
1    Egg
1    Tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup Milk

Pre Heat your Oven at 190 degress.

Hand Mix your Flour, Sugar & Salt in a Huge baking Bowl.
Add Butter Cubes, Hand Mix until coarse like Bread Crumbs. Don't rush, get the right texture. Set Aside.
In a Medium Bowl, Hand Whisk d Egg, Milk & Vanilla Essence.
Pour 1/2 Egg Mixture into Huge baking Bowl, By Hand - Knead the Dough 6 - 7 times. Lay d Dough flat, Pat into 6 -7 inches round shape & use a Medium Cookie cutter to get d Scone shape. Should able to make 6 - 7 Scones.
Lastly, Glaze d top with a touch of Milk.
Bake for 20 minutes.

* Dough must not be too damp or dry. If it is damp, sorry .. your Scones will not rise. Dough a lil dry? Just add a tablespoon of Egg mixture. Do not add anymore Flour - unless u are baking ' Hard Rock ' Scones :)

Served Warm from d Oven ! I love my Scones with tones of butter, strawberry jam & whipped cream....YUMs !

Enjoy Baking ! Do drop me a note - How did yours turn out ? CHeers !
